Willie Price Lab School has been educating children for more than 43 years. The School is located on the first floor of Kinard Hall on the campus of The University of Mississippi. It is operated by the School of Education and is licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health. It provides practical experiences for students enrolled in child development and related courses taught through the University as well as an on-site location for faculty and student research. The school is open to preschool children from the University and the surrounding community. To be served, the child must be 3, 4, or 5 years old by September 1st of the enrollment year.

Dr. Willie Wilson Price, Professor of Home Economics, was instrumental in developing the Lab School. Dr. Price served on the faculty at the University until 1982. Dr. Price provided the inspiration to offer young children the very best setting for preschool education.
